Hihi call me Alys, or Alysson! This is my site, but I'm sure you've ascertained that already... I'm a 22yo young lady/evil wench living in the rural Appalachia area.

I had cancer when I was 17; and while I hate being primarily identified by shit like that, I guess it's also a pretty important part of my personality considering the alternative is being dead. What kind? Not to get very specific, but I had a rare tumor on my nerves. A gamble with the genetic lottery was happening in my body for IDFK how long before one day my whole life was gone in a snap. But that's neither here nor there.

But I promise: I'm way more interesting than this. Or at least I try to be. I was already neurodivergent before the 'storm' came, so now my brain is more "all over the place" than it already was; so do forgive me if this place is a mess! Great chance I have forgotten about it/picked up something else. Oopsie daisy...

Anyways, nowadays you'll find me writing, making my art, spending time w family, and trying to accept the absurdity as I deal with my new frankenstein body and the challenges along w that. SIGH. I like to read; especially the work of female comedians, niche authors, chance encounters from the thrift store. I also write sometimes, when my mind is up to it.
